Our Growth Journey

Revantage UK was founded in 2020, drawing together the pre-existing entities Revantage Real Estate (originally Blackstone Property Management, founded in 2002) and the Technology Competency Center (providing data and technological support to Blackstone’s real estate portfolio companies).

In 2020, the Legal & Compliance and Valuations & Portfolio Reporting teams were established. 2021 saw the addition of the Risk & Insurance, Business Transformation, Portfolio Company Communications and ESG teams. In 2022, the London office started providing dedicated procurement support to European real estate portfolio companies. In that time our office has expanded to more than 100+ professionals.

We continually work with Blackstone and its real estate portfolio companies to understand their strategy and priorities and translate that understanding into comprehensive and adaptable solutions. We rely on our talented people to provide these solutions and push the limits on what we can offer.

Revantage Real Estate

Asset Management & Leasing

The Asset Management & Leasing team perform all asset management activities from support of the acquisition process through to asset disposal. Understanding the business plan and implementing recommended strategies often includes undertaking development design, lease regears, rent reviews, marketing and leasing.

Development Management

The Development Management team is responsible for all aspects of development management encompassing detailed acquisition due diligence and feasibility analysis through to execution and delivery. This involves management of external advisors with the co-ordination of design, cost, planning, procurement and program management, plus overseeing and monitoring the on-site construction activity.

Property Management

The Property Management team is responsible for all aspects of commercial, retail and mixed-use property management, and includes professionals with a wide range of expertise such as service charge budgeting and management, facilities and technical services, contract procurement, health and safety, statutory compliance, planned maintenance, project management, environmental and sustainability initiatives, energy procurement and cost validation. The team ensures that all properties in the portfolio are managed in the most efficient, cost effective and sustainable way so as to maximize occupier satisfaction.

Revantage Global Services

Environmental, Social & Governance

Our team provides a variety of ESG services to Blackstone portfolio companies with the aim of supporting real estate decarbonization, advancing DE&I and strengthening ESG governance practices. We act as a trusted partner with respect to ESG data management and program governance requirements, develop shared resources to address common challenges faced by portfolio companies and, where required, offer tailored advisory support across a range of ESG topics.

Finance & Business Transformation

Responsible for the management of all finance aspects of the Revantage UK including planning, budgeting and reporting to Blackstone and portfolio companies that it supports. The Business Transformation team provides leadership to internal projects within the business in addition to providing support for finance transformation projects across the portfolio companies Revantage supports.

Legal & Compliance

The Revantage UK Legal & Compliance team advises on operational legal matters and strategy across Blackstone’s European Real Estate portfolio. This includes advice on transactions, leasing, data privacy, litigious and reputational matters, governance and compliance.

Portfolio Company Communications

The Portfolio Company Communications team works alongside Blackstone’s European real estate portfolio companies to support them with their external communications activities. With a background in consultancy and in-house, the team brings a blend of experience and services from a variety of sectors, including real estate. Key areas of focus include strategic planning, media relations, ESG communications and crisis and issues support. The team also supports transactional processes with communications counsel and services.

Procurement & Spend Management

Our global team offer includes spend analysis identifying potential cost reductions through procurement program, group purchasing opportunities based on aggregated spend and our eSourcing platform providing technology and resources to portfolio companies. We share best practice across portfolio companies including monthly, quarterly and annual meetings with our peers.

Risk & Insurance

The Risk & Insurance team supports Blackstone’s portfolio companies in building more resilient businesses by minimizing total cost of risk, optimizing risk management best practice and leveraging scale to offer bespoke insurance and alternative risk transfer solutions.

Technology

Our team provides a trusted technology advisory service to Blackstone’s European real estate portfolio companies and investment teams. We add value through strategic planning, technical diagnostics, digital transformation and due diligence. We are also home to the Blackstone Global Data Program engineering and operational support teams, responsible for building, deploying and maintaining the global data connectivity framework. This serves as an architectural backbone for portfolio companies and facilitates key decision making across Blackstone.

Valuations & Portfolio Reporting

The Valuations & Portfolio reporting support team produces valuation cash flow modeling, property/fund metrics and reports to support the underlying valuation process. Furthermore, they support the third-party appraisal and review processes.
