Revantage Europe (BRE Europe and Blackstone Property Management at the time) was founded in 2002, with the first investments by a Blackstone Real Estate fund in Europe. Over the years, our service offerings grew dynamically with Blackstone’s investment growth. Our office expanded from 2 people in 2002 to our current 350+ professionals.
While our initial service lines centred around Accounting, Reporting and Portfolio Management, in light of our proven success, we expanded further into a substantial number of key areas, including Directorship, Transactions Support, Tax, Treasury and Legal & Compliance.
We continually work with Blackstone and business partners to understand their strategy and priorities, and translate that understanding into comprehensive and adaptable solutions. We rely on our talented people to provide these solutions and push the limits on what we can offer.
Our accounting team offers a comprehensive set of services, including delivering accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting for our portfolios. It includes external audits, multiple reporting deliverables (debt compliance, investor, bond and statutory), corporate accounting, transaction assistance, forecasting, and financial analysis.
The team perform all asset management activities from support of the acquisition process through to asset disposal. Understanding the business plan and implementing recommended strategies often includes undertaking development design, lease regears, rent reviews, marketing and leasing.
The team is responsible for all aspects of development management encompassing detailed acquisition due diligence and feasibility analysis through to execution and delivery. This involves management of external advisors with the co-ordination of design, cost, planning, procurement and programme management plus overseeing and monitoring the on-site construction activity.
Our Directors provide seasoned management services to Blackstone Real Estate investments in compliance with all legal and ethical requirements. No matter the complexity of an investment, our Directors invest themselves fully in ensuring the highest level of service to our client.
The legal and compliance team offers a wide range of corporate services to support the investment entities’ management, by navigating through all administration and governance processes. Whether they are legal requirements or industry best practices, our proactive, responsive and qualified staff deliver excellence. Part of our team also supervises and executes all tasks connected to international compliance and KYC obligation of Blackstone Real Estate investments.
The broader legal support teams – staffed by qualified and experienced lawyers and paralegals – provide comprehensive and dynamic support for a broad suite of legal services, including but not limited to: real estate transaction support, contract negotiations, corporate matters, and legal compliance.
At the same time, the risk management team offers comprehensive support to our management, while proactively minimizing risks and acting as a point of contact for all risk-related events and questions.
Our portfolio management team is a pool of experts that manage, at a portfolio level, the liaising with Blackstone advisors, coordinating with other Revantage departments involved in a portfolios’ activity and supports, supervises and coordinates the activity of local service providers and portfolio companies.
The team is responsible for all aspects of commercial, retail and mixed use property management and includes professionals with a wide range of expertise such as service charge budgeting and management, facilities and technical services, contract procurement, health & safety and statutory compliance, planned maintenance and project management, environmental and sustainability initiatives, energy procurement and cost validation. The team ensures that all properties in the portfolio are managed in the most efficient, cost effective and sustainable way so as to maximise occupier satisfaction.
The tax team supports all aspects of tax compliance for the Blackstone Real Estate investments in Europe, including the coordinating and filing of different tax returns (such as corporate income tax returns, value added tax returns and other relevant tax filings in various jurisdictions), provides assistance in implementing a legal set-up of investments and special projects, coordinates comprehensive transfer pricing analysis on internal financing, and together with local advisors supports in other local in international tax matters.
The technology team manages daily infrastructure and is building the Data and Analytics platform of the future. The team oversees all new system implementations and integrations while providing user support to our partners.
Our transaction support team is the backbone of the acquisition and disposal process for Blackstone Real Estate portfolios in Europe. Their service offering – provided by experienced, driven and solution-oriented individuals – covers end-to-end processing of acquisitions and dispositions of an investment; which guarantees quality and speed of execution.
Our treasury team provides high-quality support across a wide variety of cash and debt management functions. Cash management support includes cash reporting, forecasting, coordination of distributions, bank account maintenance, and bank relationship management. The debt support function includes onboarding of external financings for acquisitions and refinancing, disposition support, and serving as the liaison between loan servicers and business partners.
The valuations and portfolio reporting support team produces valuation cash flow modeling, property/fund metrics and reports to support the underlying valuation process. Furthermore, they support the third party appraisal and review processes.
