DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION
- Company: Revantage Global Services India Private Limited.
- Personal Data has the meaning ascribed to the term under Data Protection Law.
- Processing means a wholly or partly automated operation or set of operations performed on digital personal data, and includes operations such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation, retrieval, use, alignment or combination, indexing, sharing, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, restriction, erasure or destruction.
- Data Protection Law means the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 issued under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (as amended or superseded from time to time), the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 read with the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 (as amended or superseded from time to time), and the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 read with the Aadhaar (Sharing of Information) Regulations, 2016 (as amended or superseded from time to time).
I have disclosed all information, including but not limited to the Personal Data listed below, that is relevant and should be considered applicable to my candidacy for employment.
- contact details such as my phone number and email address.
- demographic information such as my name, date of birth, age, gender and nationality.
- details of my skills and educational qualifications, professional certifications, professional memberships, licenses, and awards.
- details of any non-solicitation, non-disclosure and/or other similar agreements entered into with current or former employers.
- my employment history and work experience, references and referee contact details.
- documentation relating to my entitlement to work in India (where applicable).
- information about any criminal record.
- my driver’s license, passport or other government-issued identification documents.
- any information included in a curriculum vitae or cover letter, or any other information I voluntarily provide in connection with my job application, and, where relevant and to the extent permitted by applicable law, criminal background check results.
- other information obtained through pre-employment background screening.
I understand that my Personal Data will be processed for the following purposes:
- to assess my suitability for the role applied for, including evaluating my qualifications, skills and experience.
- to communicate with me regarding my application, including scheduling and conducting interviews.
- to verify my identity and legal eligibility to work in India.
- to process and transmit my application data, including by transferring it to Company’s affiliates and their agents, and by transmitting it over various networks including networks outside India, in connection with the storage, processing and use of such data.
- to maintain records of my application for the purposes of future recruitment.
I understand that to achieve the above-listed purposes, Company may disclose my Personal Data to other entities within the Company’s group, background check and screening service providers, and reference providers contacted in the course of verifying my application. I also understand and agree that third-party background verification providers may, in certain circumstances, independently determine the means and purposes of Processing my Personal Data and may therefore separately require my consent for the same, if required by applicable law.
I understand that employment with Company is also contingent on me providing documentation necessary to establish my identity and verification of legal eligibility to work in India.
If employed, I understand that as a condition of employment, I may be required to agree to and sign non-solicitation, non-disclosure, and/or other similar agreements. I also agree to notify Company during the pre-employment process of any non-solicitation, non-disclosure, and/or other similar agreements that I may have already signed with current and former employers.
I expressly understand and agree that, if employed, my employment, having no specified term, is based upon mutual consent and may be terminated, with or without cause, by either party (Company or me), unless otherwise prohibited by law.
I understand that no representation, whether oral or written, by any representative or agent of Company, at any time, can constitute an implied or express contract of employment. I further understand no representative or agent of Company has the authority to enter into an agreement for employment for any specified period of time or to make any change in any policy, procedure, benefit, or other terms or condition of employment other than in a document signed by an authorized representative of Company.
I understand that the Processing and transmission of the application, including my Personal Data, may involve (a) transmissions over various networks, (b) transfer of my Personal Data to recipients located outside India so long as such transfer is in compliance with Data Protection Law; and (c) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks and devices. Accordingly, I agree to permit such parties to make such transmissions, transfer and changes, and hereby provide the necessary consent for the same. I understand that Company may reach out to me to discuss my application via the email and phone contact information I provided. As part of that outreach, I agree to receive text messages from Company or Company’s agents. Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. I understand I may opt out of receiving these messages at any time. I certify that all of the above information is true and complete, and I understand that any falsification or omission of information may disqualify me from further consideration for employment or, if hired, may result in termination regardless of the time elapsed before discovery.
Note: An offer of employment is conditioned upon complying with Company’s requirements including, but not limited to, signing a consent to the Processing of my Personal Data and to conduct a background verification, to the extent it is permissible under applicable law.
