Joe Valane is Senior Vice President, Head of Legal at Revantage. Under Joe’s leadership, his team provides legal advice and support across all Revantage operations, as well as customized legal services to Revantage partners and clients. Legal offerings range from full service to tailored support in areas such as litigation management, employment, regulatory & compliance, commercial contracts, leasing and legal technology & operations.

Joe’s unique role includes dedicated support to Shopcore Properties, a Blackstone portfolio company affiliate of Revantage. Serving as Shopcore’s General Counsel and a member of its senior leadership team, Joe provides direct support to the company and its legal department, while also enhancing the connectivity between Revantage and one of its key stakeholder companies.

Joe has more than a decade of experience in increasingly complex roles within law firms and in-house legal departments. He started his career in the M&A group of a large New York law firm. He later rose to partnership at a corporate boutique law firm, where he was responsible for transactions and equity finance support to the firm’s most sophisticated clients, including a digital infrastructure public company with billions in deployed capital.
